| As the Web and Graphic Designer you will have the opportunity to help create and build a strong brand identity for our high growth technology company. This position will provide you with an opportunity to make a visible difference to the organization. You will create both print and online marketing materials as a critical team member of the marketing communications group. You will operate as an internal service bureau to sales and human resources when required. As the inhouse expert, you must be comfortable both working independently, and functioning as part of a collaborative team. This position will appeal to someone who would like to apply their years of design experience to build brand consistency and recognition for U KLIK's in the life sciences industry. |

- Refine and expand the U KLIK's brand across all print and web-based mediums
- Work on designing a new corporate website
- Perform production/implementation work on the website in addition to design
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all corporate and marketing materials (both online and offline
- Maintain our branding guidelines
- Design hard copy marketing materials including: direct marketing materials, brochures product sheets, scientific posters, corporate materials, ads, invitations, tradeshow materials
- Design soft copy materials such as: online ads, pdf materials, banners
- Develop guidelines and standards pertaining to web design, to ensure the maintenance of a consistent visual presence
- Mentor others with your web skills to transfer knowledge

- Minimum of 2-3years experience as a web/graphic designer
- Proficient using InDesign or Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver
- Flash development experience and html (added advantage)
- Experience taking a project from visual concept through to print production
- Graphic design training
- A keen eye for detail and meticulous about visual impression, balance and consistency
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive "can do" attitude
